I’m back home, and you know what that means… banana icecream! This is chocolate icecream with a dark chocolate swirl, drizzled in hardening chocolate sauce and sprinkled with crushed cacao nibs 🙈🙊🙉
First make the chocolate icecream by blending 3 frozen bananas with 1-2 tablespoons of your favourite cacao powder blend (I used one with maca, lucuma, and mesquite). When creamy, scoop most of it into a jar, then add another frozen banana to the food processor and blend with around the same amount of cacao powder blend for a more concentrated chocolate flavour. Scoop and swirl on top, then drizzle with hardening chocolate sauce. To make, melt 1-2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil then add 1 teaspoon of natural maple syrup and 2 teaspoons of cacao powder. Mix and drizzle, then sprinkle with crushed cacao bean, and enjoy 🐒👋
